"Green egg no ham" Peggy Sue, my Ameraucana chicken layed her first egg!! I couldn't be more proud if I'd done it myself.... Painted on 5"x7" hardboard. |
"Pitcher with carrots" I saw these carrots at the Farmer's Market and I had to paint them. Just had to. Along with a favorite pitcher. This oil painting was done on a 9"x12" canvas. This painting earned a first place ribbon at the 2008 Sonoma County Fair. |
“Snickers Bar” 8”x8” oil on hardboard.
|
"When life gives you lemons, paint them" Here is a group of myer lemons from our tree on the side of the house. Later they made a great marmalade. |
"Autumn fog" This barn is a favorite for a lot of painters and photographers around the area. So of course I had to join the group. This is an 11"x14" oil painting. |
"Coastal fog" This is a view of the Pacific coast at Goat Head Beach. I used a 12"x16" canvas of this oil painting. |
“ This is the same barn depicted in winter and fall. Both paintings are 12”x6”
|
"Portrait of a Sunflower" The challenge of the painting project was to paint a portrait of an individual flower. With the flower taking center stage. I like the sunflower being so big that if can't fit on the canvas. The painting on the left I used only a large brush, and the other painting I limited my time. Both paintings are done in oil on a 8"x8" canvas. |
"Ranunculus" This painting was just a another reason to paint this jug. I also like these colors. I painted this on a 10"x20" canvas with oils. |
"Garden Rose"
This is another painting project of a single flower. I grabbed this rose from the garden,(It was just a bud the day before) and If I didn't catch it right then to paint, it would've been gone. So I did! I used a limited palette of red, yellow ,blue and white on this 6"x12" oil on canvas. |
